Must win for the Miami Dolphins against the Jets

The Dolphins coming in Hot

After pummeling the San Francisco 49ers 43-17, the Miami Dolphins return home to play the lowly New York Jets. This week for the Jets has been full of controversy with the discharge of running back Le’Veon Bell. The Jets are full of injuries and will be without the young left tackle Mekhi Becton and starting quarterback Sam Darnold. The Miami Dolphins are driving big following a big win against the defending NFC champions. With the Jets glaring like a team that has quit, the Dolphins have a tremendous opportunity to snatch their first home victory of the season. This is a must-win for the Dolphins. Especially since Adam Gase is the jets coach and may be fired after this game.

The Jets are terrible especially up front

The Jets offensive line is awful with or without Mekhi Becton. With Becton inclined to being out, they have nothing good upfront. If the Dolphins can stop them on early downs, third-down can be full of entertainment for Miami. Joe Flacco is the starting QB for New York, who is almost motionless in the pocket. The Dolphins can send a whole assortment of of DIFFERENT guys. We should see a couple of sacks this game from our defenses. There is not much that should endanger the Dolphins from a receiver perspective on the Jets roster. Miami should be prepared just to play man to man and send a lot of pressure.

Miami should Air it out

The keys to winning are to throw the rock. The stats show the Jets defense is one of the worse in stopping both the run and pass. Nonetheless, they have decent players on their defensive line than they do in the secondary. Pierre Desir has a lot of interceptions, but that is because he gets thrown at a lot. The Dolphins’ strength will be offense and all the offensive weaponry. DeVante Parker, Preston Williams, and Mike Gesicki, while they are not great, they have splashed some excellent football. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is on a hot streak, and the offense is taking advantage of that confidence. Williams has put together some nice stat lines after returning from his ACL tear. This is another game against a lesser opponent, an outstanding opportunity for him to blow up. The Dolphins seem they were able to unlock the passing game last week and should be glaring to air it out again this week.
