Simone Biles makes her 2019 season debut

Stuttgart, Germany – Simone Biles, often heralded as the best gymnast of all time, who is only 22 years old, makes her season debut at the DTB Pokal World Cup in Stuttgart. Adding to the sweltering five Olympic medals she brought home at the Summer Games of 2016 in Rio, she finished the 2018 season where she won another five medals and the all-around at the World Championships, Biles looks to start 2019 off the same way she ended last year, with an all-around title.

Simone carried Old Glory during the closing ceremony of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio for her efforts and character, and after her showing on the grandest stage, she took a much needed entire year of rest off in 2017. When she came back, Biles picked up right where she left off, and reminded all of us, why many call her the greatest gymnast of all time.

Mark your calendars, set your DVR and get ready for Simone Biles to compete in her first World Cup not on American soil.
