It’s safe to say that the Avengers: Endgame movie is firing on all cylinders when it comes to box office sales. In only two weeks, the film has grossed over $2 Billion worldwide becoming over the fifth movie ever (minus that tricky inflation equation) joining “Avatar” ($2.78 billion), “Titanic” ($2.187 billion), “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” ($2.06 billion), and “Avengers: Infinity War” ($2.04 billion).

The $2.188 Billion grossed sunk James Cameron’s Titanic number in just 11 short days, and also far surpassed Avatar’s “fastest to $2 Billion” record, which took 47 days to hit the mark. An interesting note is that even though it’s one of the largest movies of all time; Avengers: Endgame is only the ninth biggest title in North American history, earning $620 million at the box office. Overseas, is where the film has seen the largest success, pulling in $1.56 Billion, with almost half of that number ($575 Million) coming from China alone.
Avengers: Endgame was the culmination of Marvel Studio’s “Phase 3” for their cinematic universe story line. A total of 21 movies had taken place leading up the Endgame, to round out this era of Marvel characters, barring any cameos. No, that’s not a spoiler, you’re still safe until Monday, May 6, 2019.
